I cant believe you think that nobody will know

1, You have to register with nearly All auctions now ( if not all then you will by the end of the year ) ,, they pass on ALL info to the TAX office

2, DVLA, Pass on info also about who owns / has owned a few more cars than you would expect the normal man to own in a year

3, You also have to register with your local council if you wish to sell more than 3 cars a year ,,if you dont and they find out through a unhappy neigbour etc , your in the shit

We now live in a world where the TAX man has many many spies for him so if you want to risk it then good luck ,, but you are much better of going legit and paying a little tax etc IMO
Any more than 3 cars owned/ bought and sold in a year and by law you are classed as a trader , and dont just think ,,oh , if i dont put the car in my name "who will know "
