I was thinking about this the other night, and it is obvious the reason the quadrants are snapping is because of how the pedal assembly works.

No doubt the angle the bolt pushes against the quadrant over-stresses the quadrant and hence why the weakest part lets go.

How far in/out have you people got the bolts adjusted on your pedals?
