hello all, my car developed a funny rattle so i thought it was just the crankshaft thrust bearings on my evo 3 as they allways fail on evo,s 1-4 , the dreded crankwalk. anyway you can do the job from the sump up, while i was there i found out that the 2 middle shell bearings had also gone
but the outer 2 were fine, after looking at the cradle and the crankshaft there seems to be no damage? my question is im selling the car and dont realy wont to strip the whole engine and do the job propely, is it possable to do all the shell bearings from the sump up? the thing is you can get them all out so they must go back, anyway what the fook do i do

full rebuild and loose alot of money or try and do all the bearings
