But I meant with the 250 quid a day earning potential etc, all he needs to do is sack off the 20K fireman shite, and do 1 more day at 250 a week instead, and he is back to nearly the same money (which is good money IMHO) and for far less hours.
Need to be down to 60 hours a week, sounds like some good initial intentions with work have lead him to accidently mess up his priorities.
He like a lot of people with a one kid(s), a non working misses could live happily without any debt (apart from mortgage) on £30K but choose not to. Probably not the biggest house, going to be a shite car on the driveway etc but who cares as being happy and not poor IMO is better...
