Cheers fellas. Some good info there. The shells are correct coz I had the crank ground and oversize shells. The head wasnt touched though but I didnt think that the head came into the equation when it came to oil pressure.I always thought that the oil pressure was measured from the pump to the bottom end shells? It doesnt have an external cooler and I cleaned the oip pump and pick up pipe with a fine tooth comb and the mating faces of the pump/pick up pipe are ok?I get worried about pressure coz I had an engine go pop once so I am a bit paranoid about pressure.I must admit I am dissapointed that the pressure isnt higher as I spent a fair bit reconning the motor. Some one told me to take the pressure relief valve in the pump out and stick a washer behind the spring to up the pressure.Apparently thats what burton power do to their high pressure pumps.relief valve in the head?Thats a new one to me blaazer?Never heard that one before mate.must look into it.
