I have a set of white Compomotive wheels that go onto the original wheel studs but I only get a few turns of the chrome wheel nuts (5.5 turns actually) to hold them on. I don't think this is enough for track use so I'm going back to original wheels for competitive use.

I guess the solution to this is to use longer wheel studs. Has anyone done this? Are there long wheel studs available? Can I use a set from a different model? Transit? Are they easy to change?

Any pointers would be very useful.
