over the weekend i've been swopping between the two................and i went to book a power run at the local R/R at the cost of £45.....i asked if it would be alright to swop my box & cone filter to see if it made a difference...........they said yes but would charge me £60+vat...........i didn't bother (2 min job...fuck em).........any way after a day of messing about i think.....THINK...the airbox has the edge....i didn't take much notice of my act temps (cos i had my foot down),but the box feels smoother and seems to pull better (especially from slow speeds)....till i can get it on the R/R and prove either way i'll be keeping the airbox on............. ..........now i'm making a cold feed to the box....think one of the foglights is coming out.............
