I need to change the top part of my steering column (the bit the ignition barrel sits in) as some one tried to steel my escosy last night and did a bit of damage.

Its got an airbag at the minute but i want to change the steering wheel to an aftermarket one but have been told you need a none airbag steering column.

So i was wondering if i ordered the replacment top bit without airbag would it fit the bit that was left in the car or does it all need changing.
