Haven't got air-con ...

It NEVER happens when car is cold ... only when driven warm and often after it has been driven hard. But also often after a simple drive on the motorway.

Alternator belt is 100% correct mounted and tensioned.

Would a fault in the power-steering be rev-dependant ? ....
