That rub strip is the one fitted to the popular plus model, how odd that someones fitted it to and xr2?

I suppose its feasible that a non xr2 shell was used to reshell it at some point but more likely that someone retro fitted them, just a wierd choice of mod.
Does the shell have the bulge in the boot floor panel on the left for the wider spare wheel? It should make a nice project regardless

Not checked the boot floor for any bulges as yet, but it has got a spare pepper pot alloy in the spare wheel well.
Would this fit in if it wasn't an XR2, i remember my old Mk1 pop couldn't fit a pepper pot in
Cage is in by the way folks and will hopefully be picking up the S2 recaro's in the next few days
