Dual carriageways almost always have a sign stating dual carriageway, unless somone has knocked it down or nicked it.

Highway code speed limit list is ANY goods vehicle (not below 2 tonnes as they have same rules as a car) UP to 7.5 tonnes, so that's everything bewteen 2 and 7.5 tonnes.
