Rod is not trying to sell you oil . He has just reported on the tests he has carried out after doing top speed runs, nothing more nothing less - you can't get any more independant than that!

As to those that are saying they "can't tell any difference" between the oils, you don't "listen" to an engine to tell if an oil is better . You give it death, then send the oil off for chemical analysis. The Silkolene was the only oil out of the top recognised brands that Rod sent off, that was still within it's designed tolerances. The Castrol actually had metal particals in it . This obviously meant that the oil was NOT doing what it should .

In view of this, I now won't run or recommend anything else.
