phil the problem is without the ability to map the boost yourself you're limited by whatever the amal mapping is set to.

If you go with my above jetting, you'll be able to get the correct held boost, and the spike will perhaps be 2-3psi more. Loading the actuator is fine as long as you keep within sensible limits. This is why I start with half a hole and usually go up to but not more than around a full hole of preload.

Why don't you have a word with sue (if thats where your chip came from) and ask her to progressively shut down the amal valve to give you the desired higher midrange boost and top end drop.

If you can't get this sorted then I'm sure I could sort you out a chip in return for a favour!
