Hi Karl, car went spot on at the ring, only got 145 out of her though cos i misfired at bout 6000rpm Was strange because on friday it wouldnt get past 6000 in any gear. Had a look round and found the breather pipe was coming loose and allowing air out, presumably at 6000 causing the miss. Tigthened it up an shortened the air filtr to turbo boost pipe and 7200 was restored but in 5th it wouldnt go past 6000? Anyway, didnt cause any problems as didnt go that high too often anyway. Got her home and now its boosting to 2bar which goes pretty damn well but obviouley ist meant to be that high. Nothing obvious is loose and the bleed valve hasnt moved. Also its back firing at constant revs, say holding at 3400 in 5th on motorway and you can now see the rev needle drop down when it does it as if the engine is trying to shut down??? Its getting more and more common now on the road? Just wondering if theres anything obvious that ive missed to check? Also im getting a slight leak from the 5th injector housing, should there be 2 O rings on the injector or do I remove one? Would have phoned but im on nights at the mo.
