mate, bin that completely and go for a Core 2 Duo CPU. nothing can beat those atm and AMD are a long way off matching them plus the overclocking scope is endless! They just beat everything at the moment and really isn't worth getting anything else. The only problem is the motherboards that run these cpus are all pci-e. But oyu can get decent one's of those too. Really not worth getting anything else imo as you will find it's just better to spend now rather than waiting a few years and having to spend again. It really is worth it

I have this and certainly does not dissappoint and overclocked to 3.0GHz.

And do not be fooled by the clock speed. Nowadays that means nothing. This I GUARANTEE is faster than the cpus mentioned above. Plus overclocked and it's just in a league of it's own. I am on overclockers forums a lot as well and built my PC about 3 months ago. Spent £700 roughly and mu budget was initially half that. Got convinced to spend the extra dosh and believe me I am so glad I did
