The white locking nut things at the rear, the one on the passenger side was worn. I have a new handbrake kit, but due to rain on sunday didnt get chance to fit it, so yesm the driver was honest. My car was around 15 meters away from where the car is photographed now.

Good point. I wouldnt say thrashing but its 6 miles of dual carriegway with 3 roundabouts and i errr didnt want to be late but i guess that could be a cause.
