Yeah basically, but as youve already painted it, just nib the paint that you have already sprayed with some 1500 wet paper obvioulsly not breaking through the paint then get a grey scotchbrite pad and wizz over it to key it up a bit then its ready for a bit of laquer, hope this helps.
