So, when you power off your laptop and switch it back on it loses the connection ? Same as when you simply ask your laptop to do a restart ???

Don't use hibernation, not worth it, if you plan on having an hour break just shut it down, or close the lid and leave it running, I set my laptop monitor to switch off every 2 mins when I plan to be away from it for a while.
