Yeah mate, if you lucky enough to go in with someone PROPERLY good, like you have, and Beefy on this thread has too (he a lucky bastard, was about my fave car too!), you get a much better idea, infact you usually come out amazing and realised it way harder than you thought at first., lol. And that its a LOT faster and scarier than it looks from the outside

S12 isnt bad, its just a older 8valve S13 really, nowt special, but about the best 500quid car for it!

Drift Bible is about your best "get the jist of it" DVD, not wrong, just not perfect. Just some people will sit and watch it 50 times, then think theyl be able to drift.
Would be 200times better spending that same time just in the car trying! If you can go to a day or whatever where others are there with more experience, get someone in the passenger seat with you, or you become a passenger n let em drive, and you learn a lot, and everyones more than happy to help.
