So, to continue........... (see hows this for dedication to the thread update already)

Having spent a bit of time on here clocking some of the seriously pukka S2' threads ( incl reading every page of Twins & TT threads in a single sitting, looong ol' night ) Got planning a few improvements for the ol' girl, so done the usual & whacked on a 90 spec spoiler & bumper to kick off.......




Then splashed out on a bit of underbonnet bling, some Samcos, Pro Alloy FMIC, Pace Ally rad & a Magnex to replace the standard pea shooter




All the while ignoring the growing rust spots around rear arches/sunroof/front panel etc etc etc

So come winter, looked into getting the tired paint & dreaded rot sorted, but after getting the kit off and stripping interior out I found the usual tinworm ( couldn't bring myself to take pics )
After getting a few quotes in the £2500 mark to sort it properly, decided to put it on ice till I could get the dough together.

To cut a long story short ( about f*%kin' time I know)

Came across a recently restored RS shell for a lot less than £2500, which came with a nice few goodies incl, New Adj Spax all round, new rear disc set up, green pop out rear quaters etc.
