i don't know, i'm running out of ideas on that one, possibly fuel contamination perhaps?

so let me get this right, you have the pump with the pick up in the swirl pot and it doesn't work, yet when you join the jerry can to the feed on the pump it works? so you must have a problem with the feed to the pump, blockage or something.
