its such a pointless exercise supporting a football team when the success or failure of the team is based purely on wether or not some foreigner decides to use that particuar name to buy himself a few quaint english trophies.

its all bollocks, its got NOTHING to do with the actual club anymore and everything to do with what size cash injection they have.

add a few hundred million to ANY club and you get success, the club has nothing to do with it all, the fans have nothing to do with it, the history of the club has nothing to do with it, its all just about if you have had lots of money recently or not.

you arent supporting liverpool versus manchester or london or whatever, you are supporting some russian fella trying to buy more trophies than some american fella, the name of the clubs they happen to buy to do that is utterly meaningless.
