yes you can wire it up. the signal from the sensor needs to go to pin 2 and be earthed to pin 1.

it will only do something if the software in your chip is right though. if you have a standard chip from a green top 4x4 that was fitted with lambda sensor and cat to start with, then it will. most other chips will not.
