Bought the alarm of Ebay new and sealed. My friend who has fitted several of these systems and I fitted it. Checked the voltage of the key fob and their fine. As you have said about the earth, I have had the battery in and out the car a few times, and have changed some wiring so am off now to make sure its all tight and clean. THANKS
