A set of brakes lets you do things in your car that simply couldnt even think about with the standards.
I have lost count of the times that passengers in my car(who drive non AP equipped cars, I think to think of them as scum
) have been convinced I was hitting the guy in front of me only to let the AP's do their stuff and be no where near them
