I agree - TV's need to look nice and not obtrusive or out of place even when turned off. Thats why I chose my Tosh. I wanted a CRT I knew that, so my options were limited, but the Tosh is labled "the picture frame tv" cos it is very minimalist and looks, at first glance, much like a plasma - till you realise it's a CRT cos of it's depth! But it's very "clean" looking so blends nicely I think....
