It's not just a matter of the lifters, you then need to change the cams to suit this type as well.
The benefit of running solids is that you can run MUCH more aggressive cams, due to removing the compromise you have to have on the lobe shape when you run hydraulic ones.
With the cam timing swung, I could move my peak power up by 500rpm to take it from 7500, to 8000, purely because the cams and solid lifters can do this

i've got db16 inlet and exsaust, double springs and v pulleys. do you think its worth it with that set up
