A correctly geared 550bhp 3 dr Cossie will hit about 183mph within the confines of Brunters. Bruce Reed did 182.6mph there in a 3dr with a Dynoed 541bhp.

205/45/17 i think, defo 17 though, i susopse the engine will rev limit near 7500. as its still on hydrolic lifters, (need to dicch them if anyone knows where i can get solids)

True, but holding them at that speed and they go WAY beyond their efficiency range and sound like a bag of spanners afterwards, as all the oil gets pumped out of them if held too long at these kind of revs. Obviously they recover again, but it is not an ideal situation for a high revving engine, as you only have to visualise what is happening to the springs with the lifters locking...
