do them gator grips actually work on really tight rounded off stuff? some pikey had put a non standard head bolt back in the caliper on my old escort derv, I had multiple specialist "rounded off gadgets" and they were all wank.

Ended up getting the torch on it and chiseling it undone.

If people used 6 sided sockets in the first place we wouldnt have this trouble!!
