Hi,
As Tabetha say, another possibility is accumulator defective.
If rubber separator in accumulator is defective, you have no pressure reserve. The pump run and stop in very short lap time.

Note that ABS module and pump are completly separated. You can disconnect your ABS module and the pump run still.
