Sorry to butt in, im new round here I had the same problem a few weeks ago what had happened was the break fluid had cooked and over flowed out of the reservoir pushing the level sender up so far it got stuck all I did was wait for the fluid to cool then unjam the sender. God bless heat soak….. I think not!
