Listends to the "knock" of the engine.

Retards ingiton if it senses "knock".
( I cant remember what knock is- but is deemed to be BAD)

Can be affected by things around the engine bay.

On CVH can be affected by the fact its on a Rattly CVH.

On a CVH either use an S1 Ecu which doesn't have knock sensor input (or Cossie etc ) OR remove from engine- still attached to loom - wrap shitloads of bubble wrap round it and cable tie out the way safely to prevent it sensing knock. Must still be conected to loom.
