Well mate i'm all for trying new things but perhaps it was just not suited to my set up.
I had the surface of the block and head checked for straightness and suitability for using the copper head gasket but still it never managed to seal.
You have to use a spray on copper cement as well because the copper on its own can not seal.
Unfortunatly it had blown around the oil flow hole and mixed the oil with the water
The engine is out the car now and the head etc is stripped off.
Tonight i plan on taking the sump off, rods and pistons out, crank off etc and giving the block a really heavy clean/degrease over the weekend and start putting it back togeather during next week.
