Given the choice of AVO or GAZ, not that experienced with both, but AVO do a motorsport range, with decent insert and valving, Nigel Madigan the MD of AVO does compete himself in an esc cos and last time I saw him he was developing this range, on the downside they are probably more expensive than the fast road/track GAZ shocks but I wouldn't compete in a car with fast road/track suspension.
