This is true, but if you speak to BMW they will still recommend the TWS in the newer ones (I think to make even more money!) - I must admit that some BMWs are not consistent!
On the M5 forum I use, most seem to use the TWS, even the newer engine design.
As I understand it, they modified the ring design, dont know how or what they did, but it deffo worked!
Mine likes to use a rather frustrating 1litre per 800 miles. The newer ones report more like 1litre per 2k! I am very jealous!
