the G40 and G60 Supercharger is not a conventional charger, it is more of a compression pump - the air is squashed thru vanes and this is what creates the boost - the bit that turns insisde is like an eliptical cam and squahes the air in the vanes - its a bit more technical than that, but thats the basics
