Which car is it, and which key are you trying to program? Is it for the immobiliser or for remote locking?
the 3/4hr was meant to be 0.75 hr or 45 mins but at £75/ hr + VAT it mounts up

Car is a 2001 Focus 1600 Zetec and it's the remote central locking on the main key..

The battery in the key went flat and by the time I replaced it it had lost its frequency or something..
