Vanquis cards are a safe bet mate; rates are not that good but I never heard of anyone who's failed a credit check with them and they are typically used by to rebuild a credit history because credit is very low initially and they allow you many payment options.

I have one which I only use for credit history (no huge borrowing and pay full amount at the end of the month) and so far I had no complaints.
