Took these last year, and just been messing about in Paint Shop Pro with a few pics as I fancy getting one blown up big to hang on the wall in my new house
First one is a pic taken of lower Manhatten (the financial bit) of the World Trade Centre site, taken from the New Jersey side of the Hudson River. This is where the two big towers would have been standing.

I made it black and white, and then boosted the contrast to make the buildings a bit more punchy. Then I clipped a bit off the sky to centralise the riverline.
Next one is also lower Manhatten - but from a bit further up. Three seperate pics, stitched together to make a wide panoramic shot. Again, greyscaled it, boosted the contrast and fixed the sky to remove the light differences in the joins (you can still see the joins in the water tho)

What you guys think?
I'm thinking of getting the first one done, as whilst I like the 2nd, a) it'd be hard to get a frame for, and b) I think the photoshop edits would show up a lot more when blown up big....
