I would'nt have throught they got hot enough to expand otherwise I would have thought this heat would have burnt the belt, might be wrong.
Wonder if anyone else can throw some light on this
well they dont get that hot but that are made out of ally i think and the standard are steel i think again
i know they strech the belt and they is a small danger of cam belt snapping but then again a uprated belt might stop that,
