Default Sodding car.................AARRRGGGHHHHHHH- techie help!

Righty then peeps, some of you will remember my post about my car jerking on WOT recently!
Anyways, went out with jim last night for a drive to see if we could sus out what's happening, and basically this is the jist of it!
Before driving, did an ecu test with one of those gunstons things, and it came up with falut code 68, which on autodata says watsegate recirculation valve- now this would be stoed from before where the car was cutting the ignition from overboost, or whatever.....- checked the amal, and all of the hoses and there wasa split in it near the top, although the car was not overboosting etc...- still htiing what it was before.

Reset the ecu, and took it for a drive, and for about 10 mins was fine through gears 1-4 at WOT to about 6.2k, so we thought the problem was solved- felt completely normal whilst doing this, no loss of power etc.....

Pulled into the petrol station on the A20 to check the ecu for fault codes, and NONE had been recorded, so we thought that we'd solved the problem- off we went, held the car on boost at WOT on the brakes in 3rd to see if it would cut the ignition again, and it did...... ARGGGHHHH

pulled into the layby comming back on the A20, to check the ECU, and once again its reading fault code 68 so there is obviuosly a sensor down, or ecu fault......- MAP was the most obvious- resent the ecu, drove off boost, or only part boost, and checked the ECU again to look for a fault code- fine, so we think we've got the problem solved- connect a multimeter to the map sensor to see if thats at fault, and causing the ignition cut, but its not- its reading exactly as we would have expected...- no weird values when the car is jerking or owt, so it must lie elsewhere...

And this is where you's lot come in- has anyone got any ideas WTF it could be
The car did do it last year with an xr2i act sensor, but i thought this had been solved by putting in a frst act, but as you can see the porblem has returned- im gona check this tonight or tommorow whilst driving, along with swapping the ecu, but has anyone got any tips, or hinst as to what else it could be?? PLEASE, im really starting to getting p'd off with my car

Anyhow, cheers for you help!
