My lucky streak just keeps on going

Took my car for a run down to York today and on leaving, just outside of the drag strip my ABS and handbrake light came on. I pulled over and could see nothing wrong so had no choice but to carry on driving and things were working fine, about 10 minutes after that I went to slow for a roundabout and my pedal was totally solid as if the ignition was off. Needless to say I shat my pants. :cry I pulled over, couldnt find anything amiss but the handbrake light on and ABS pump was going mad. I unplugged all the plugs to the brakes so I could limp it home with its solid pedal and virtually no stopping power at all.

I got it home and had a look about it and can still see nothing wrong, plugged things back in and the pedal is still rock hard, anyone had this or got any ideas??????
