the 'driver' of the car at the time has to show 'his' insurance.
wether it be your insurance with him on it,i'm not sure if that will be ok.
just do as Jake says......
get the lad insurance,you still can even on a prov licience,just costs more.
then pay the deposit....normally 2-3 months insurance.....then cancel it.
ok, you have lost the deposit,but you will get the car back.
someone with a full liciece will have to get the car with him as he has only a prov. licience.
