Right ive got a 32" Polaroid HD tv connected to normal Sky digital and i just brought a LITEON dvd recorder.
The tv has two HDMI sockets on the back and the DVD recorder has one aswell, so ive connected the tv and recorder via HDMI and the sky box is connected via scart.
Now the picture quality on dvd films is great but when i go to record i hit the AV button on the tv remote so i can control the recorder and set it to record but the pic quality goes? like words arent sharp they look slightly blurred, then flick back to sky on the scart and the picture looks way better, hence when i record the pic quality isnt as good as when im watching Sky digital.

Theres alot of settings for picture etc on the dvd player, its set to HDMI(sound and picture) 1020i, progressive scan is on aswell.

Any tips
