Took the car to MOT station this morning, its the first time the car has been driven in 6 months. Drove the 8 miles there, but when you came up to a junction or round about and slowed to idle it was pretty high andwanted to keep going in gear. Then when the car was on the ramp getting tested the engine started hunting, it was blowing out some white smoke from the exhaust but it was pretty cold, then when it started hunting the smoke disapeared. The car failed on emissions, the Co2 was 6.50 when the max for the test was 3.50 The tester thought that due to me running it on optimax, that may be the problem. Anyone else had simillar or have any ideas???

Car is a 1990 S2.
