The P8 ecu doesnt need ANY board in it at all to do closed loop or wasted spark, we can do it all in the generic software. This means if you Do have a Pectel baord in your P8 and you went for my system, you could take it out and sell it on, possibly making you a decent lump of money back towards your new software. I liked this bit when i had mine done, saved £150 on coilpack conversion and sold the board that was in it for £200, ment i paid £30 for closed loop
