I went there when I was about 15, cant really remember much about where we stayed as we only stayed in a place for like 1 or two nights. We have a family owned golf course, Victoria gold club near Kandy, but that had no hotels when i was out there as it had recently been completed (grounds), but if you like golf it is an amazing course, well, i thought it was anyway!(biased!)

It depends really what kinda place you are after, i.e somewhere 5* or somewhere that has a bit of persoanlity.
