I had a flash new JVC HDD (Hard Drive) camera and it was bollocks for trackdays.
Within the first lap the vibration etc had corrupted the recording and I had to reformat. I tried rubber mounts and all the tricks in the book. HDD cameras don't like shock and vibration
I'd say you can't got wrong with a mini DV or DV camera mate.
