sounds like the same problem i had could get my car to keep running after it got run a little changed everything even the cam as i was running std cam on chipped ecu any way my motor was running rich and kicking out black smoke when under load and stunk of petrol like you i tried to sort out the over fueling was told to pull out the multi plugfrom the fuel pressure acuator whilst the car is running and it run fine no fuel smell no black smoke and it run fine give this a go and see if it works if it does you could need a new pressure acuator hope this helps.[/u]
