just got the DVLA office manager to call me and I am writing a letter to him to request a an officer come out and view the car at home.

The inspection is only to make sure the car exists and has the correct numbers - i sold the original reg when i bought the car so they have to assign a new agem related reg.

Normal procedure im led to believe, its just the hassle of taking time off work and getting the car to a testing station.
